It is possible to get support for multiple Instagram accounts on iOS 9 iPhone, as on Monday the company has announced that its users can start logging in to its free mobile app with multiple user accounts. This particular feature will be useful for any companies who manage more than one account for social media purposes, or for persons who have multiple accounts for various interests.
Instagram originally started rolling out the multi-account feature last week, but the official announcement comes out yesterday. According to the official Instagram public post, the new feature will actually be available in version 7.15, which was released earlier this month as well.
According to the blog post, users should start seeing the feature in the app as early as this week despite the leaks stating that the feature was available for some Instagram users last week.
How To Get Support For Multiple Instagram Accounts In iOS 9
Step 1. Simply delete the application on your iOS 9.2.1 iPhone, and install it again.
Step 2. After logging back in, you can then navigate to the Settings pane within the app, and select the Add Account option.
Step 3. From there, click your username at the top of your profile to switch between accounts.
Step 4. Now to tap and hold on your account icon in the toolbar of the app. This will reveal a menu showing all your accounts.
Step 5. Once you have multiple accounts added, you’ll see your profile photo appear in places throughout the app. So while switching you can always tell which one you’re using at the moment.
Once again, the feature is being made available in version 7.15 of the Instagram mobile app for iOS and Android only, and not in earlier versions of the app or for other platforms, so you’ll have to make sure you update to the latest version of Instagram, which is available for free in the App Store, to get support for multiple Instagram accounts on iOS 9 iPhone.
