How To Replace Text With Emojis in Messages App On iOS 10 iPhone

If emojis is a part of your vocabulary then you'll be happy to know how to replace text with emojis in Messages on iOS 10 iPhone. With the next major software release Apple is planning to implement many new features and improvements through the iOS platform. Emojis replacement feature in Messages app in iOS 10 is one of such enhancements.


Of course use emojis is really fun but swiping through 1000 emojis to find a perfect one can become a real challenge. That's why Apple simplify this task with the new emoji replacement feature in Messages app.

The system is very simple. The words in a message that can be replaced with an emoji are displayed in Yellow and you can click it to switch them to an emoji. 


How To Replace Text With Emojis in Messages App In iOS 10


Step 1. In order to replace text with emojis in Messages on iOS 10 iPhone head to the Messages app, pick a conversation and start writing new message.

Step 2. Once you’ve written your text, hit the “Globe” icon in the keyboard to switch to the Emoji keyboard. In case you have multiple keyboards installed, long press on the Globe icon and select “Emoji”.


Step 3. Once you do that, you’ll notice that some words in the sentence will be highlighted in yellow (in case when the sentence contains words that can be replaced with emojis).


Step 4. Click on a word and you’ll see a popup message showing all the emojis you can replace with this word. Click on one and it will be replaced in the message.

If a word can be replaced with only 1 emojis (for example, “Thanks” or “Coffee”), the emoji will be replaced by the word as soon as you click on it. This is extremely simple, isn't it?
