How To Make The Volume HUD Less Intrusive In iOS 10

If you want to make the volume HUD less intrusive in iOS 10 then you should jailbreak you device first and install new Cydia release called Sonus. This is not a secret that almost all users don’t like the obtrusive volume HUD in iOS. It can be really annoying especially when you’re playing a favorite game, looking at photos, or browsing the web and the volume HUD covers a huge portion of your iPhone's screen.

Sonus jailbreak tweak makes the volume HUD less intrusive in iOS 10 and here is how it does its job. The tweak replaces the default volume HUD with a slimmer version that is displayed in Status bar. When you press the volume up or down button, the Status bar gradually fades out to show a horizontal volume bar that takes a lot less space.

What is more the tweak supports both landscape and portrait orientations, which not all volume HUD replacement tweaks do. It also has a number of customization options which you can find in the preferences pane in Settings app.

The tweak also has the ability to work as a volume adjustment slider whenever the volume HUD appears. When it does, you can opt to have a grabber appear on the indicator that allows you to adjust the volume via the touch screen once you’ve already got the HUD open.

Sonus offers similar functionality to StatusbarVolume tweak but the latter doesn’t have as much customization options as Sonus has and wasn't updated to iOS 10 yet.

So Sonus tweak is the best choice if you want to make the volume HUD less obtrusive. It can be downloaded from Cydia’s BigBoss repo for $1.99 .Then tweak supports all jailbroken iOS 9 and iOS 10 devices. So if you are jailbroken with Yalu than you can grab the tweak right away.
