Those folks who have jailbroken device can now make the album artwork more prominent in Control Center in iOS 10 installing the new Cydia release. Of course the great thing about Control Center is that it offers access to Music controls anywhere you might need them. Part of the music control interface dispalys an album artwork illustration for whatever media is playing. And this is noticeable that this part needs improvement.
Dubbed as BiggieSmallcc, this jailbreak tweak is developed to make the album artwork more proportionately appropriate by increasing its size to better fit the interface, especially on devices with larger screen.
Note that you'll get different results on different iPhone models, because it depends on how big your device’s display is. In the case above, the screenshot demonstrates tweak's effects on a 5.5-inch display.
By making the album artwork more prominent in Control Center in iOS 10 BiggieSmallcc helps to use up that empty space in the Control Center page between all of your music controls. It also makes it easier to see the smaller details in your album artwork.
BiggieSmallcc is available from Cydia’s BigBoss repo for free. So make sure you’re running iOS 10 to be able to download it from. Right after installation, the tweak will add a preferences pane to the Settings app. From there you can turn the tweak on/off on demand. There are no other configurations as once you enable the tweak, the changes take effect immediately even without a respring.
BiggieSmallcc tweak brings purely aesthetic changes to Control Center’s music control page without offering any new functionality improvement. However, candoizo, the developer behind the tweak, notes that BiggieSmallcc works with most other add-ons that modify your music experience like Acapella III tweak, which allows users to control music with gestures instead of buttons.
