You can get public iOS 10.3 download links from our post if you prefer clean installation. After seven beta releases, iOS 10.3 is ready for the masses. This recent update will most likely be the last major point release in iOS 10. However, 10.3 might not seem like a significant update. But there are a lot of little things that improve user experience. Here are a few of the most note-worthy upgrades.

SiriKit: SiriKit, which lets third-party apps access Siri, has been updated with important features enabling the virtual assistant to schedule future rides from services such as, Ola, Uber, pay bills, check the status of payments etc.

Maps: First of all, the 3D spinning globe view you’d get when you zoomed all the way out in the satellite view is gone. You’ll now get a flat earth view. Also, when you search for a city or an area, you’ll see a little weather icon in the bottom-right with the current temperature. If you have an iPhone 6s or above, you’ll be able to 3D Touch it once to bring up an hourly forecast. 3D Touch once again and it opens that city’s detailed weather forecast in the Weather app.

CarPlay: CarPlay now features shortcuts for launching the most recently used apps and the location of EV charging stations as well.

Find My AirPods: AirPods are notoriously easy to lose, even in the house. You can now find your lost or misplaced iPhone thanks to a feature called Find My AirPods which is available in the “Find My iPhone” app.

Apple ID Settings profile: When you open the Settings app, you’ll now see your own profile icon, and name at the top. Tapping here gives you access to all of your Apple ID, iCloud, iTunes and App Store details.

Right below, you’ll see any important notifications relating to your Apple account (if any).

The iCloud page, for instance, has a new storage bar at the top making it easy to visually see the storage space that’s taken up.

Scroll down and you’ll see a list of all the devices connected to your iCloud account.

Apple File System: In iOS 10.3, the iPhone's file system uses Apple File System (APFS). APFS, which is optimized for Flash/SSD storage, has important features such as, strong encryption, space sharing, copy-on-write metadata, cloning for files and directories, snapshots etc.
